Mr. Murugan, born to parents of no means, hall form a remote place at a close proximity to the border area connecting Tamilnadu and Trivandrum, since left with no proper means for life, he started his life as a mason, As an young man he was very dynamic and was having fire in him to achieve great in life. This fire led him to Madurai along with his brother during the year 1991. He was in Madurai in search of his livelihood. He got job as a mason under established civil contractors, Because of his tireless work and relentless services, he attracted his Employers. This attitude fetched him opportunities to carryout job as labor contractor. This entry paved him chance of earning money. He is a honest and strict disciplined person. So he was able to save some money which was enough to become a small time civil contractor. He, as a contractor proved that the quality of his work is much better than that of others. This factor brought him many clients.
After this development during 1998 he started his own civil construction company which was named after his daughters, taking ‘SU’dha from his second daughters name and ‘GEE’tha from his first daughters named, he christened his firm name as “SUGEE INDUSTRIES”.
During late nineties mosaic flooring was at its peak. Sensing this Mr. Murugan started another unit by name “SUGEE MOSAIC INDUSTRIES” for producing the mosaic floor tiles during the year 2000.
